Multiple Intelligences and Learning Styles

This project is collaboration with Our Lady of Peace in Calgary, Alberta that involves student’s definitions of Beauty as they relate to Gardner’s 8 Intelligences. Students now better understand themselves (Intrapersonal) and how they work with others (interpersonal). Students produced presentations that have been surveyed with their group, storyboarded, rendered into a 30 second digitally edited movies that were delivered to the class and the collaborating school for peer and self-assessment.

After researching Gardners Multiple Intelligences students analyzed their own Intelligences through station work and self measuring techniques. Students then approached the question of Beauty and presented their definition of beauty using the 8 intelligences of Gardner. Projects are presented in both official languages allowing them to present their definitions to their own class and the collaborating school for peer and self-assessment.
